Never Forget
Memories are ghosts;
they haunt the senses.
When they escape their
cages, they fence you
and surround you in
flashing images.
To some, they are monsters.
To others, they are reminders.
To all of us, they are fragile.
All I ask is that you
don’t bury me; don’t let
me fade into the dark
realms of oblivion.
All you have left of me are
the images you see.
Until conclusions to voids
have been met,
You don’t have to remember…
